How do I attach these airbags to my lift?
This system can be attached many different ways. This is the most common with the straps and utilizing the lift cradle and the lifts bottom beam. See photos below.
Start by wrapping the short (fixed) end of the cam buckle strap to the boat lift cradle.
Then lower the long end of the strap in the water, under the beam and up on the other side of the beam to then snap hook to the stainless steel D-rings on the airbags.
Then tighten each cam buckle strap so the D-rings are as close to the bottom beam as possible. Getting the airbags close to the bottom beam will float the lift the highest and allow you float in shallower water.
Make sure to position the airbags toward the heavier side of the lift to compensate for the weight of the winch/wheel/motor.
